The adsense craze has really taken off. There are hundreds of us every day starting a website to make money via Google Adsense. As a result, there are more and more Google Zombies floating around - people who see Google as GOD or to us web users THE Internet. But that's the thing, Google isn't the Internet, it isn't the search engines. It's just one search engine on the Interent.
Too many of us are out there killing ourselves, staring at Google to see our rankings. Wasted energy, effort and basically life while going after the most sought after prize - The Number One Ranking on Google. This craze has people in search of that one magic tool or piece of advice that's going to skyrocket your site to the top ranks.
But here's thing thing, there is NO one single way to drive traffic to your website. That one secret trick just doesn't exist. So stop looking for it and start looking at the big picture. Try other search engines, go out and reciprocate links, test online advertising like Google Adwords, do whatever it takes, but knowing that you don't have to kill yourself looking for that one magic trick.
You can develop partnerships with other websites, utilize viral marketing techniques, disperse your message on other people's networks, create multiple websites for different niches, get into an affiliate programme, get listed in directories, launch an email marketing campaign and hell, you can even engrave your site name on your forehead! :)
Try differente things and see what works, but please don't be a Google Zombie!
